This conversation brings together artist Rebecca Ackroyd and curator Charles Teyssou in the context of Stavanger Secession 2026 – To Live and Think Like Pigs. The discussion explores Ackroyd’s sculptural practice and its engagement with architecture, the body, and the psychological dimensions of constructed environments. Working across sculpture, installation, and drawing, Ackroyd often creates spaces that evoke containment, tension, and latent violence.
