The guided tour offers visitors a direct entry point into Stavanger Secession 2026 – To Live and Think Like Pigs. Led by the curators, the presentation introduces the conceptual framework of the exhibition and unfolds the philosophical and historical references structuring the project, from Gilles Châtelet’s critique of consensus in contemporary democracies to broader reflections on power, shame, and the management of bodies in modern societies. The visit will highlight how the figure of the pig operates simultaneously as metaphor, insult, industrial organism, and philosophical device.
